My Role

As the lead product designer, I collaborated closely with the product team to bring the Seller Dashboard from its initial concept to the final product. My responsibilities included project management, leading the design and delegating tasks to junior designers, and helping to define the information architecture and overall user experience. Post-launch, I continued to work on the integration of new features and improvements.

The Challenge

Previously, users were required to link their Shopify stores to the Complex NTWRK platform, which was a cumbersome process riddled with issues, such as inventory being uploaded improperly and difficulties in gathering accurate data on the number of available products. Sellers had to navigate between two systems, which was confusing and inefficient. Furthermore, the previous system required Sellers to be familiar with Shopify, which was often not the case.

We set out to create a custom produce management and order fulfillment tool that would complement Complex NTWRK's unique features, while maintaining a sense of familiarity in the workflows our users were accustomed to on other platforms, like Shopify.
