What I Learned
I honed my leadership skills and technical knowledge by working closely and directing a developer on exploring and selecting a technical back-end for the app based on my needs. In particular, I leveraged Firebase to quickly build and manage my app, and the CoinMarketCap API to display real time cryptocurrency information and for prompt investing through the chat interface.
Additionally, due to its MVP nature, I was able to bring it to market quickly and collected customer emails to kickstart developing a community capture iterative feedback - a crucial and valuable asset. This experience also taught me that capitalizing on current media stories and trends can provide significant traffic to the app, and in particular, the importance of releasing features in sync with major cryptocurrency news to maximize impact.

I conceptualized the features of the app from scratch. After collecting data from the surveys I developed, I designed three potential app concepts, which were shown and polled amongst potential users for validation. After obtaining validation, I set up a marketing site and developed marketing strategies to promote the app once it launched on the Apple App store. Throughout the process, I worked closely with and managed a developer, and defined and redefined the MVP while understanding technical constraints.
